Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
  • Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly Aardvark Tanzania Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, Arusha is a vibrant town that serves as the perfect gateway to your Tanzanian adventure. Relax and recover from your journey, enjoying the serene surroundings and preparing for the excitement ahead.

    In the afternoon, you may explore Arusha’s local markets, indulge in some local cuisine, or simply unwind at your hotel. This is your time to acclimate and soak in the beautiful Tanzanian atmosphere.

  • After a hearty breakfast, embark on your safari with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers a unique safari experience. As you drive through the park, you’ll be treated to picturesque landscapes and the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, and an array of bird species.

    Upon arrival, enjoy a picnic lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife year-round, providing excellent game-viewing opportunities as animals gather around the water source.

Day 4: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

  • Today, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to the beautiful island of Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your beach resort. Zanzibar, known as the “Spice Island,” offers a perfect blend of culture, history, and pristine beaches.

    Spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the stunning beaches and warm Indian Ocean waters. Take a refreshing swim, lounge on the soft sands, or explore the resort’s amenities as you unwind from your safari adventures.

  • On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and some free time to explore Arusha before your departure. Your guide will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
