Your outfits should be comfortable & easy. Wearing neutral colors such as tan, khaki, beige allow you to blend into your surroundings better, so you can observe the animals practicing natural behaviors. Mornings & evenings can sometimes be cooler, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater to layer with. Safari vests are extremely useful & help organize everything you might need during the day. Expect to get dusty, so casual clothing that is easily washable is recommended. We also recommend wearing sunglasses & a hat, to cover you from the hot African sun. Sturdy, closed toe shoes should be worn; to prevent any incidents or accidents when you’re walking outside of the vehicle for bush meals or bathroom breaks.adipiscing elit. If your safari requires you to take an in-country flight, there is a strict weight restriction of 20kg/44 pounds, for each person’s luggage. You will be allowed only 1 soft-sided bag that may not exceed this weight limitation. We strongly encourage using a soft-sided duffle bag for your travels. If it seems like an impossible task to pack for an entire safari with only 44lbs, don’t fret! Many of the camps & lodges offer laundry services, often times complimentary

Most visitors will require a travel visa. We recommend you obtain your travel visas prior to your trip, keeping in mind visas can take some time to process. Depending on your country of origin, you may be able to obtain a visa at the airport once you arrive to Tanzania, but lines can get long. If you choose to purchase a Visa once you arrive, please be advised that you must pay in USD & sometimes change is not available, so please bring the exact amount.

We recommend you consult with your health care professional as well as the CDC for updated information. Most countries are affected by Malaria, so anti-malarial medications or vaccinations are highly recommended. If you are visiting a country where Yellow Fever exists, proof of a Yellow Fever vaccination is required prior to entry. Please visit http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/list for more information.
